No Photo Release

Obama won't release photos of bin Laden's body
President Barack Obama has decided not to release a photo of Osama bin Laden's body as evidence of his death, the White House said Wednesday.

. . .

Obama was concerned that releasing a photo could serve as an "incitement to additional violence" against the United States...
What, someone might hijack planes and fly them into buildings, or try to blow up planes with explosive underwear, or try to set off a bomb in Tines Square, or shoot thirteen unarmed soldiers at an Army base, or kill a soldier in an Arkansas recruiting center, or ... well, you get the idea. Yeah, we wouldn't want to provoke the assholes...

Obama won't release the photos now. The ultimate decision will rely solely on his poll numbers over the next 12-16 months.

I'm not usually so conspiracy minded, but I truly believe there is NOTHING about our government that isn't currently being manipulated solely for the impact it has on Obama's re-election campaign.
