More FOD 2013.02.04

In an effort to portray obama as some sort of regular guy who supports the use of firearms for sporting purposes [*snort*], the White House on Saturday released a photo of obama allegedly shooting skeet. The photo was captioned “On the range at Camp David, Md., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012.”

In addition to the terrible form displayed by the skeeter-in-chief, there's another problem with that picture. According to Reuters, on that same day obama played a round of golf in D.C., and the helicoptered to Cam David for a “birthday meal he was expected to share with wife, Michelle.”

I guess barry could have squeezed in a quick round of skeet between golf and dinner. And Lord knows if I was forced to endure a meal with michelle I'd want to shoot something. But the whole thing just seems wrong.

Like much of his administration...

(H/T Jeff at A Nod to the Gods for the initial heads-up.)

P.S. - The release of the original photo was accompanied by this warning: “This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way..."

Predictably, the Internet went nuts.

NFO - Yeah, but you won't see it in the MSM.
